First targeting the Czech and Slovak markets, and later expanding to global players, the Czech company CS Soft from the CSG Aerospace division is introducing a new system for evaluating tenders called Tendera. It operates based on artificial intelligence, utilizing large language models that the company develops and trains in-house.
Originally developed for CSG group companies focused on aviation and military technology, Tendera is designed to handle even the most complex tenders with extensive specifications and classified information. However, according to Lukáš Hefka, who oversees AI at CS Soft, the system is universal and can be used not only in the private sector but also in public administration.
Tendera is set to significantly streamline the tendering process, including the selection of winners. It also serves suppliers by helping them meet requirements—evaluating how well their products and services align with the analyzed tender. This way, Tendera benefits both contracting authorities and bidders alike.
"In the aviation industry, it's common for a tender specification to contain 1,400 requirements. The people responsible for the evaluation must assess whether all the conditions are met and to what extent. This can take hundreds of hours of work. Our goal is for the Tendera system to accomplish this in just one hour," says Hefka. Thanks to AI, it is even possible to interact with the tender specifications, saving valuable time. Users can, for example, inquire whether additional documents are needed, what they should contain, and other related details.
