Professional story of Tomáš Richtr
"Formula 1 connects various fields and knowledge, which I now utilize in my profession."
You might know Tomáš from his hosting and commentary of automotive races, especially Formula 1 races.
Tomáš' career began on prestigious projects at well-known Czech companies such as Vodafone (formerly known as Oscar) and Kapsch. At Vodafone, he rose from a small regional company to the head of the operations center overseeing the entire infrastructure. As the first employee at Kapsch, he worked on the toll system project and gradually rose to become the operations director. The toll system project became one of the most successful IT and IS projects for the state. The experiences gained over more than two decades are now routinely applied in his profession.
At the beginning of the last decade, Tomáš had the opportunity to pursue his love for civil aviation as a project manager at CS Soft, a company developing air traffic control systems. In 2017, CS Soft became part of the Czechoslovak Group, bringing further inspiration and growth. To organize his thoughts and experiences, Tomáš pursued an MBA in strategic management at Cambridge Business School.
In May 2024, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of CS Soft, taking responsibility for the future not only of the company and its employees but also of the CSG group and CSG Aerospace division, of which he is a proud ambassador. He continues to apply insights from the world of Formula 1 on his professional journey.
