The Czech radar manufacturer, Eldis Pardubice, a member of the CSG Group, has achieved a significant business success in Southeast Asia. At the end of February, a ceremonial signing took place for the contract to supply and install five radars in Vietnam. This marks the first-ever order carried out for VATM, the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation. The company did not disclose the contract value. On behalf of the Czech side, the contract was signed in Vietnam by Martin Dufek, Deputy Sales Director of Eldis Pardubice.
"The aviation industry in Vietnam is experiencing rapid growth, bringing both opportunities and challenges. VATM is committed to investing in top-tier infrastructure and state-of-the-art technologies. The delivery and installation of five radar systems play a key role in this strategy and will significantly enhance airspace surveillance over Vietnam. These radar systems will improve flight efficiency, ensure safety, and contribute to the modernization of Vietnamese aviation," said VATM's General Director, Nguyen Cong Long, during the contract signing.
The contract includes the delivery of radar systems, operator training, installation at various locations across Vietnam, and testing with representatives of the end user.
"The recently signed contract is the first-ever agreement between Eldis Pardubice and VATM, the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation. We believe this marks the beginning of a long-term and sustainable partnership between our company and VATM," said Filip Vogel, Sales Director of Eldis Pardubice, adding: "However, we are not entirely new to Vietnam. Between 2018 and 2020, we carried out a complete modernization of three RSP-10 radar systems for the country's Ministry of Defense."

In recent years, Eldis Pardubice has completely modernized its product line and now offers next-generation radars that fully comply with the latest regulations and requirements of EUROCONTROL and ICAO. The company is currently operating at full capacity and, due to the high volume of orders, is constructing a new production hall at its facility while actively recruiting new employees for both manufacturing and technical positions.
