The second edition of Airspace World took place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 19 to 21 March. Companies belonging to the Czechoslovak Group presented their products and services at the fair, namely software companies CS SOFT, ATRAK, UPVISION and POCKET VIRTUALITY or the Pardubice-based radar equipment manufacturer ELDIS.

The Pardubice company ELDIS presented its entire range of active radars on a model of a complete airport. These radars include the RPL-2000 radar suite, which is designed to provide a complete air traffic control solution. The RPL-2000 radar suite consists of the RL-2000 primary surveillance radar, the MSSR-1 monopulse secondary surveillance radar and the PAR-E precision approach radar. The radar set is complemented by the ERDIS air traffic management software system. The Pardubice company also presented a new generation of these radar systems at the fair, as well as its 3D radar under the RL-3000 designation.

CS SOFT focuses primarily on air traffic management products and services and presented a wide range of them in Geneva. In particular, the next version of the ALS ATM system, the ATC simulator, the Pagoda solution for monitoring datalink traffic, the Traffic Complexity Manager or the improved multi-purpose tool for situational awareness and air incident investigation RadarView. There was also information on ESUP-NG, a new modular flight data processing system built on a completely new architecture, modern technologies and representing a transition from a central database to independent services.

At the fair, software company ATRAK presented for example Aeronautical Billing (ATRAK-AB), a fully automated billing system that collects and processes flight plan data from ATM systems and optionally from other sources. Other systems presented at the fair included Aeronautical Statistics (ATRAK-AS) and Aeronautical Information Management (ATRAK-AIM), ATM solutions for regional/small airports (ATRAK-IDP TR8), and a surveillance system for border control needs (ATRAK-AGAS). The company also presented to experts its software solution in the field of UTM (Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management), which is the result of its cooperation with UPVISION and CS SOFT.

And POCKET VIRTUALITY presented the possibilities of augmented reality in the ATC and ATM sector at the fair.
