Implementation of ALS ATM system for Palanga, procured by Oro navigacija, is progressing successfully according to the planned schedule.
In January, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) were conducted at CS SOFT premises, together with Oro navigacija representatives, to verify functionality of the system in accordance with the required specifications and technical standards.
Other important project milestones await us in the coming months, namely deployment and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of ALS ATM system at Palanga site. Once successfully completed, these tests will be followed by a shadow operation phase, when the new system will run in parallel alongside the existing system to verify its reliability and readiness for full operation.
The final step, transition of the system into live operation, will then enable Oro navigacija to provide air navigation services for Palanga at the highest level of safety and efficiency as well in upcoming years, as ALS ATM system operation will be supported by Service level agreement.
