In February 2020, Česká letecká servisní signed an agreement with the Croatian government's MRO facility organization ZTC (Aeronautical Technical Center) for the ADS-B out and 8.33 kHz modernization of six Canadair CL-415 aircraft operated by the Croatian Air Force.
Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the ZTC team, Česká letecká servisní managed to complete the modernization of three aircraft by the summer holidays (in about 5 months!), which is huge success. Completion of the modernization of at least two aircraft by the summer was one of the main requirements of the Croatian MoD, due to the fire season, which begins in the summer and in which Canadair aircraft play a major role.
The upgrade was done using Honeywell Primus II equipment and team CLS /ZTC is supposed to finish additional two (2) aircrafts till the end of 2020, the remaining last one (1) to be finished at beginning 2021.
